In this sequel to Keep This Quiet! Margaret lives in villages in Morocco with her exotic, fascinating, unstable Belgian poet husband, Jan Mensaert. But the book focuses on her encounters with the three “outlaw” authors. She re-energizes on a one-liner diet of advice, deeply digested and wise, from genius-poet Milton Klonsky, which she reports to the reader, magically, as if her mind were a tape recorder. Also, the reader is privy to Gonzo updates from Hunter S. Thompson—the relationship never losing its hold, even necessity. At one point, trying desperately to find her in 1971, Hunter writes, “Dear Margaret, Where are you and why? I’ve lost track completely. My last definite word was from a toilet-hole in Algiers.” A most fitting ending takes place at Hunter’s Owl Farm. In fine form, he is trying to pick back up the romance and take it to the next level. They both are.

MARGARET’S COMMENT
Just landed on New York City soil for a brief stopover in New York, where did I go? Of course, unannounced, my feet took me down to West Fourth Street in the Village, walking the entire distance from midtown, telling myself I didn’t know where I was walking to. Of course, I knew. To Milton Klonsky’s for my yearly indispensable feasting on his witticisms and steely analysis of whatever current predicament I found myself in in my marriage. His advice might be, when I bemoaned Jan Mensaert’s suicidal tendencies, “Give him something to rise to. . . Or go down with him. But don’t be a bystander while this man commits suicide.”

Never, that is, be a bystander in your life. Plunge into it. I always felt ten miles high, after listening to such talk from an insider, who knew life through and through. And had the soul of a guru. With Hunter the attraction was otherwise, but—necessary. Often we caught up on these by phone and letter on these trips to the States. Then back to Morocco. Fourteen years of Oum Kalthoum, and Jacques Brel, and of course Mozart, all Jan’s favorites. And I forget Piaf.

The Hell’s Angels Letters: Hunter S. Thompson, Margaret Harrell and the Making of an American Classic is an important revelation in the legacy of Thompson, with letters that survived precarious shipping and travel over decades, cloaked away from the public—scanned in toto..

At last, the public can go inside the experience of Hunter Thompson at Random House. “If Hell’s Angels hadn’t happened I never would have been able to write Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or anything else . . . I felt like I got through a door just as it was closing,” Hunter told Paris Review.

When he secured a hardcover contract with Jim Silberman (Random House), the known part of the story breaks off. To whip up the final edits, Margaret A. Harrell, a young copy editor/assistant editor to Jim, was—in a break from the norm—given full rein to work with him by expensive long-distance phone and letter. This galvanizing action led to a fascinating tale. She uses the letters to resuscitate the suspenseful withheld drama. The book peaks in their romantic get-together at his ranch twenty-one years after they last met, a moving tie maintained over the years.

Keep This Quiet! III—Initiations begins in the C. G. Jung Institute Zurich, where Margaret was enrolled in 1984. She is headed for a big initiation there, which she narrates for us—showing how initiations are life-transforming. Notably, she also dives into the debate between physicist Wolfgang Pauli and depth psychologist Carl Jung about how science/matter and psyche/spirit/synchronicity emerge from a unified psychophysical realm. Dreams lend assistance, as do the brilliant Jung-Pauli letters. Exercises in the back offer practical help in how to work with energy.

–Thompson, that is.
What’s he like Beyond 3-D?
Daring, outrageous, to bring up the topic
UNLESS—
Initiations took you there.

Years ago,
1985, to be exact.

In this grand summary of her soul journey, following on her Space Encounters III rev.,” Margaret Harrell goes where few dare to tread: recounting her initiations that began in Zurich, at the C. G. Jung Institute, precipitated by a death; then took her to “the Christ State” and back. Beyond 3-D introduces in a relevant way, into our understanding of consciousness, the off-Earth use by spirits of her relationship to Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson; she shows how everything—even the patterns we unwittingly make, on Earth—is “up for grabs.” Or rather craftily, lovingly, intelligently added into the Earth Bank of knowledge we draw from; that is, from a larger-than-3D point of view. Shared or otherwise. Personal, universal, in the way life-changing initiations are, this journey is relatable. Pick up the book and see why. Join the conversation. Does this speak to you? Tell you something about inexplicable situations in your own life, clearing up some questions, albeit like a movie script grounded in Life?

Keep This Quiet! IV has been called “psycho-active,” “wonderfully relaxing,” and “a blending of the whole of a human being and beyond into the cosmos . . . astounding writing.” The story begins in the 90s in Tienen, Belgium, where assorted parapsychological phenomena accompany the death of her housemate. Quickly checking in with Hunter Thompson, she winds up at Owl Farm, then returns to Belgium to experientially dive deep into the multidimensional world of visions, computer-PK (mental influence over the computer), divine guidance, Carl Jung, and quantum mechanics. Initiations include encounters with Hindu guru Dhyanyogi-ji. Many traditions join hands, on “the edge” of timeless mysteries.

What happens when the blinders against quantum “magic” are lifted? Our life shifts profoundly. The updated “Keep This Quiet!” IV: “Ancient Secrets Revealed” integrates mystical, practical Teachings embedded in Harrell’s life. The narrative begins in 1991 in Belgium, where parapsychological, or siddhi, phenomena follow the death of her live-in boyfriend. After a suspenseful visit with Gonzo creator, Hunter Thompson, at his Colorado Owl Farm ranch, having not seen him in person for twenty-one years, she returns to Belgium to dive into the dramatic experiences that await; these involve spirit guide committees, visions, computer-PK (mental influence over the computer), psychologist Carl Jung, and quantum mechanics. “Ancient Secrets Revealed” uses a combination of storytelling and applied ancient/modern wisdom insights. Initiations also involve Hindu satguru Dhyanyogi-ji. Many traditions join hands on “the edge” of timeless mysteries. Anyone experiencing the confusions of an Awakening can enjoy and learn from this book. Follow Margaret as she tightropes her way into higher dimensions. Ultimately, Life drops revelations and choices all the way through. After wading through a midlife romantic conflict involving life purpose, she spends the ten years of this book bombarded by opportunities to gain spiritual growth and vastly expand her self-understanding and awareness of the many dimensions accessible to all of us who let go mass consciousness boundaries expounded over TV and explore our unbound potential.

From the Author: KEEP THIS QUIET! IV, was overhauled top to bottom after I found writings by me stored in my garage. If you like a suspenseful story in the spirituality and the Personal Transformation genre, check it out and consider ordering. A tip: there’s quite a bit of subtle-energy phenomena in it, with illustrations of “Computer PK,” mind through matter. Does that exists? This book says yes resoundingly.

With computer PK, philosophy, an explosive MRI, and commentary by Taiji master Jef Crab, Tricks High Up adds enjoyably to Margaret Harrell’s adventures in life, exploring everything about whatever spot she finds herself in, whatever initiation, including when things disappear. Included in the topics is how to deal with a bad health diagnosis: how, using upbeat emotions, nonattachment, and other spiritual tools, beside modern medicine, you can breeze through a life-threatening time. “In fact,” Jef Crab explained, “being infected with the Ebola virus was one of the best experiences of my life. I was in this big bright creative energy.” He added that using the creative energy can be in the garden, teaching Taiji . . . Whatever takes us into those energies that are beyond our everyday level, where we find—”

“—connections,” Margaret finished. This is a short, but profound, intense read.

📖 Now available wherever reality glitches.

👉 Join the underground. Read the Principia. Rewrite your world.

Sir Isaac Newton famously complained about “action at a distance.” How was it possible, he wrote, that gravity, or attraction, operated between objects without physical contact? Well, jump to the twenty-first century, and we have a lot more to say about that. Readers will enjoy a brilliant, outrageous, playful exploration of quantum physics in everyday life, from a secret interplay of TV plots with us, in electricity, to other speculations, founded in the author’s decades of initiations as well as being an original thinker and a scholar.

What is the foundational principle of Space Encounters II, rev. An Underground Principia: About Me and I?

From the BOOK:

Newton said that every particle of matter IN THE UNIVERSE was connected to every other particle. He was flabbergasted, astounded. How was it possible? But that’s what he said. His discoveries, which we built on for these over three centuries led him there. And he went. But filled with questions. He left them for us. And that’s where this book starts.

Why are you, fifty miles from me, yet connected to me in some mysterious way? Can you influence me? Supposedly, yes. “But,” sputtered Newton, that admittedly great scientist who would have won a Nobel Prize hands down, had he lived later—who set us down into science for three and half centuries.

“But”—he sputtered again—”what is the agent?” Thus, he asked An Underground PRINCIPIA’s opening question. He asked it in his own Principia. We had to go underground, into spirituality, quantum physics, esoteric laws of energy, very subtle energy—pursuing the answer. And did relics of “particles of matter” hang around, holding the intensity of that question? Evidently so, because many picked it up.

How are you connected to “particles” on Venus, on Jupiter, in your front yard, downtown, a celebrity? And does that mean that the universe somehow “connects” its content?” Wraps the life force together somehow? And even a flower, a germ, a stone—that connects to you too? What is this mighty agent of connection? We start here, assured that we can never be totally isolated, any of us, not with these slivers of connectedness inherent in us, in our environment, in Life. Thanks, wise Newton. We like this idea in this century.

Taoist, Master Taiji teacher, rainforest activist Jef Crab writes: “My biggest concern is that I have no idea how many people will be able to grasp the depth of the principles Harrell describes. It is amazing enough that she takes a lifetime of experiences and connects them into a driving force that leads to the realization of one’s purpose. Even more amazing is that she includes the most subtle levels of existence that play a role in these processes… Most breathtakingly, by reading An Underground PRINCIPIA, the reader can gain the insight that all of this is happening, not in one lifetime, whether human or universal, but in an eternal now. Amazing achievement.”

An unusual feature of the illustrations in AN UNDERGROUND PRINCIPIA is a technique called “computer-PK,” or mind through matter in the creation of printouts. As in Einstein’s “Credo,” the author exemplifies: “The most beautiful and deepest experience can have is the sense of the mysterious.”

Let’s dive down into our relationship to the universe’s creative impulse, creative energy—the energy that can move mountains, can explode cities— through our common affinity for and content of . . . ELECTRICITY. Electricity “Transport Trains” presents “some personally experienced secrets of how we get roped into the universe’s scenes and stories.” Margaret A. Harrell spent the decade of the 1990s at her computer, but it was no ordinary experience. The computer worked with her, in what is called “computer PK.” In this parapsychological phenomenon, the computer repeatedly restructured portions of a whole page of text that was on-screen, reducing it to mouthfuls. No page printed the same way twice. This was a collaborative experience between artist and, if you will, spirit illustrator (humorously put). With piles of examples of this type of refocusing, not only did she have her consciousness altered and expanded, but she used the illustrations in her Space Encounters series, some of which are reproduced in Electricity “Transport Trains.” The Space Encounters series was published in Romania while she lived in Belgium. Resurfacing out of this ten years of seclusion and artistic hermitage in 2001, she relocated in the United State with a shipping container that held many examples of this nonstop ten years of creativity, all supported, or instigated, by “the spirit world.” Blinking in the light of returned-to everyday reality, she published more books, but shifted focus. Now she is aiming for short, easily accessible, entertaining books that have a very deep undertone. In addition, she brings insights into how human electricity interacts with the electricity-filled universe that she learned but did not understand in an initiation in 1985. Decades later, it’s all so clear. And she shares it in this book.
